An Introduction From the World of Elementary School

Welcome to my blog.

I am sure you want to know who I am and why you should stick around.

You can call me Mrs. Lee. I am a 38 year old, married woman. I spend my days teaching and boosting kindergarten through 4th grade students' phonics skills and help them hone their math skills. Sometimes I get the opportunity to act as a substitute teacher from pre-k/vpk through 5th grade. I work at a Title 1 school in Central Florida. I love my job and will forever be grateful for it. However, I am not the biggest fan of my living situation/location. I spend my nights keeping house and dreaming of a little homestead on Kentucky, where land is more affordable, and you can do what you want on your property (building wise).

Here on this blog, we will be talking about food, education, religions, history, archeology, language, literature, geography, and diversity through the lens of the Bible. We will also be talking about homesteading, survival, and lost sustainability skills as I learn them through various resources that I will also share with you. I may discuss projects that I am working on or things going on in my personal life. I will absolutely share about my cats, my Yorkie boy, and my sweet husband. I will also be sharing praise to blessings in my life and the world and also share answered prayers.

I am not a Biblical scholar. I am not a graduate of a Seminary or Bible College. I am simply a woman trying to look at the world through a Biblical world view, testing everything against the Word of the Bible and sharing what I discover.
